The Ministry of Interior has released the latest list of provinces that have entry restrictions for people coming from high risk areas in Thailand. The rules vary a lot as well does the list of high risk provinces. The only way to get the latest information is to visit this official website. Unfortunately, it is all in Thai.

In most cases, quarantine can be avoided if you offer to pay for a Rapid Test (cost is around 600 baht), you’ve been vaccinated or you have just come out of state quarantine and have a COVID-19 free certificate. In most cases, you are also allowed to transit through these provinces.

Although many of these provinces are not strict (they rely on the honour system and health volunteers who knock on doors), the message is very clear. Unless you live in one of these provinces, you should stay away until the situation improves.
